I watched the Mets game today on TBS and got great pleasure out of seeing 60,000 quiet and sad New Yorkers...but Harold Reynolds did the color...his insight and comments were more meaningful than those combined over the last ten years by Joe Morgan

Tood bad he had those off-air issues with ESPN

Clutch effort by Santana yesterday, but boy the Mets have got a major monkey on their back.  You gotta find a way to win today (or not lose anyhow ;) )

Still, Mets fans will have to sufferfor a couple of genrations before I feel any sympathy.
Yup

I still want the down low on his leaving ESPN - it sounds fishy to me, and the stories I've read lead me to believe he got a bad deal...
Now, on to 18...

His firing from ESPN was definitely kept hush-hush, but I seem to recall accusations of sexual harassment. The most disturbing part about it was that the alleged victim was John Kruk. :o

Okay, that's a lie.

HY, ever taken a look at FireJoeMorgan.com?  I think you'd enjoy it...

It's not solely dedicated to Joe (though there are several features if you go through the archives), and I'm personally not the Joe detractor that many out there are, but I do think FJM's work is some of the funniest around, and they do seem to be right with a good deal of accuracy, too.  Figured your mention of Morgan made this a good time to bring it up.

Too bad I was at the restaurant watching football on satellite this week (with my Dodgers safely in) - I'm right with you about Harold, hardlyyardley, and I'd have loved to listen to him doing the game as the Mets finished another collapse.  Wish I was home in NY with the media right now...oh boy...
