my dad has the same 10-20 stories, and he continually tells them if there's the right prompt - for example if you talk about health care, expect to hear how GE has machines that they sell to hospitals for ridiculous amounts of money, and then the hospitals have to use them so they don't get sued by patients, thus driving up the cost of health care....
