Unbelievable.
The last days, the weather was so close and hot, you couldn`t lie on the bed without sweating.
We currently have an open air festival in our town, which runs for several days, and since we have not enough common swifts (the bird, not Bobby), we have a horrid aphid plague at the moment. Imagine a permanent snowstorm of aphids. Yesterday, I was completely
showered in aphids after two minutes at the festivities...no exaggeration here. Disgusting.
But that`s not the worst part.
Today, it began to rain. It took the sky 5 minutes to completely turn black. Black! At 6 pm! During the summer, it normally doesn`t get dark here until after 11 pm. I have a small terrace in my backyard, and I couldn`t see the ground anymore after two minutes. The water was around one feet high!
And the best part? I`ve learned that the ceiling of my house isn`t waterproof, so I had to search frantically for my old cookware to prevent my apartment from getting drowned.
The sky is falling and the end is near.
