I definitely and embarrassingly fall into the category of "didn't notice the guy in the giant gorilla suit."  It felt a lot like when I zone out and start going into my own little world during my classes.  Wow.  Thanks Hobbs, that kind of blew my mind.

I'm not sure if it's the same video I just watched on youtube with the guy in a gorilla suit, but that one was crazy.  Not only did I totally miss the gorilla suit the first time around, even after they ask if you say it and rewind, I miss it again.  3rd time was a charm though. 

But I was only one off in the original question, and considering all the craziness that was going on, I thought that was pretty good.

i got it the first time, though i probley wouldnt have if he hadn't stopped and done the taunt. the ball flew right past him and i was like "oh, thats what some of the crowd is giggiling about, thats odd."

what did everyone get for passes, he never does say the right number (or i missed it) i got 17.

I counted 39, and I'd estimate a +/- of about 6 in either direction.

no way did a white tshirt player pass to a white tshirt player 39 times. the black tshirt players dont count.

your only counting the white t shirt to white t shirt passes, as i understand it.

Because the original link from Roy is removed, i went to youtube on my own and i guess i was watching a different one. one in dutch or something with a chest-pounding gorilla.

then, after reading your post, i went back and found one where it was easy to count the 13 white team passes, but i too missed the moonwalking bear.

seems like there's several of these videos.

guys... counting the passes isn't the point... missing the gorilla is the point. 

PS: In Roy's video there were 17.  The other videos that do the same thing aren't as good, BTW.
