LOL Powe is listed at 6'8 and PJ listed at 6'9. In that pic PJ has like 4 inches on Powe. Is PJ on some special riser or sumthin 8)

well Gabe is supposedly 6'4, and Powe has maybe two inches on him here...Rondo at 6'1 looks smaller really - if Ray is 6'5 as listed, then I'd say Powe is 6'6 in all reality, but yeah PJ does look extra tall, maybe he's got jump soles on

  • The good ole days.
KG in shoes is not shorter than 7'1", maybe closer to 7'2".

I wouldn't be surprised if Perk's height was inflated by an inch.

This isn't really any revelation to me though...

I used photoshop to draw the horizontal lines and then used the measuring tool.

Conveniently the difference between Pierce and Perk, and Perk and KG are the same, so according to the listed heights, yes something is awry.

But, there is a whole lot of assumptions here that just arent good. Like
-The picture is straight
-There is no fisheye or parallax effect.
-They have consistent shoes on
-They are all standing up straight (which is a really bad assumption)
-The are all standing on the same elevation

The basketball was the only fixed dimension I saw in the picture, so if someone wants to use that they can, but again, there is just a whole other group of assumptions there.

It's not how big you are it's how big you play. Unless you're under 5ft....

Conspicuously absent, Big Baby, Eddie House, Sam I Am, Scal and the king of the injured reserve, Scot Pollard...am I missing anyone? Besides Posey obviously - kinda weird that PJ Brown showed up, guess he has nothing better to do

Big Baby and Scot Pollard were there.  I'm pretty sure Scal was there too.  Sam wasn't there because he his grandfather was sick.  Eddie had other commitments, I believe; and Posey said he would've felt weird going after leaving for free agency.

I don't see what's so weird about PJ showing up.  No matter what your politics, getting invited to the White House isn't something that everyone gets to do, and most people take it as an honor, or at the very least just a cool story to tell.  If you watched the video, you could tell Pierce took it as a big deal, because I've never seen the man so nervous.

TP, you win the Sherlock Holmes award, whether it's accurate or not.

More importantly guys, now that Bush is on the team, who gets cut? What number is Perk switching to, or is a trade in the works? This leaves us very thin at the Center position.

We all knew George was gonna be out of a job in a couple of months, but man did he line up a hell of a post white house career.

I don't want to be a smartass, but P.J. is listed at 6'11".

Everything is fine. Pierce is 6'7", Perk is 6'10" and KG is 7'1". It makes perfect sense.

That would make sense.  Garnett is listed as 6'11" at nba.com though, which is what I was referring to.
