...moment had to be the first time I ever watched a Celtics game and simultaneously blogged in the CB game thread at the same time. It was awesome. It was like going to a bar and watching the game with about 100 guys only this time they were all Celtic fans and all really knowledgeable. When I'm just watching the game at home in the living room, I now just can't seem to watch the game without my laptop sitting in front of me and enjoying the game and the convo all at the same time. And the game threads while watching the games in the playoffs were intense. Just great stuff.

...rule is the ban against swearing and disrespecting your fellow bloggers. There are a ton of sites out there that allow pretty much anything to be said and written and I think it makes for some awful experiences. If I wanted to read a bunch of expletives I'd simply download the words to a bunch of low quality rap songs and read those. Besides, the rule keeps the more immature of bloggers from being here since most won't blog without resorting to namecalling and dropping 4 letter bombs.

... writer is without a doubt Steve Weinman. Sorry Jeff and some of you other guys but I have enjoyed Steve's front page articles immensely since he came aboard. Steve is obviously very basketball savy and has a clear and concise way of making his point while or telling a story while keeping you entertained. Steve was a great addition to this site and kudos go out to Jeff for being the wise man he is and adding him to the staff and Steve for being...well, Steve.

... activity is posting in the tri-monthly "Bring back Antoine" threads and purposely taking the the opposite view. I have nothing against Antoine, I just love the rise I get out of the very emphatic pro-Antoine crowd that exists here. Sorry, it gives me a very perverse feeling of joy. Call it my evil streak.

...advertisement is without a doubt the CafeShop one with the doggie face in the corner of the ad. That dog is posing in the same goofy way that my own pup constantly looks at me. Those big, sad eyes just get me every time.

...poster is a title that can't be given to one, but to many. All of which have the characteristics that you have Nick.

Definitely a great poster who embraced the Celtic spirit, as a fan, and has helped to make CB what it is today. It's members like you (non-mods) that set the standard for the rest.

TP for a great post.

Thanks Maestro and the feelings are mutual. TP4U2.

I agree I couldn't pick out just one poster or, for that matter, one mod. Although...

...technical genius and webmaster is definitely Bob Day.

And one other thing.

...event has to be the Celticsblog Draft. I don't participate but I love reading over the thread and the Press Conferences that ensue. It takes away some of the boredom that is the off season.

Tommy Point-gate? I have a brief recollection of this, but would someone care to remind me of what went down?

Well, if you enjoyed reading over it, you'd have had a blast participating.

It just seems like it would take a ton of time and thought process that, quite honestly, at the end of the day, I just don't have. Trying to squeeze CB in between my business, my wife, my kids and my own personal activities is hard enough.

There was a sudden, mysterious flood of Tommy Points.  Some panties got in a bunch.  People realized that what they were getting worked up about was the last thing in the world worthy of getting worked up about and dropped it.

Mysterious flood of Tommy Points? What? Where was I when this was going on. I really, really don't remember. :-\

Look back in the 100 TP thread, somewhere in late June/early July for some historical references of this brief, unmentionable, bit of turmoil.

Far, far too kind, Nick, but your sentiments are much appreciated.  Thanks for the kind words.  Later in the day, when I'm not running late for covering a football game, I'll try and catch back and add some of my favorites as well...

Just looked over it briefly, maybe I missed some of the main points but it didn't seem that bad? To me, it just seemed like people deserving of TP's were getting them in magnificent spurts.

Anyway, back on point:

...thread is probably the game 6 Finals thread. Everyone was just so together, Celtics fans around the world rejoiced at all different times. Great moment.

That's why I referred to it as a "tongue in cheek" scandal.  I don't think most people took it too seriously.  Nick's updates as the Celticsblog Congressional Hearings were taking place cracked me up. though.
