Quote
Timberwolves forward Al Jefferson has suffered a mild sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee, the team said today. An MRI exam taken yesterday confirmed the injury. Jefferson is expected to be sidelined for up to three weeks, but should be ready by the start of the season.

Could you have put the word "minor" in your thread title?

This was the headline from the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "Wolves' Jefferson has knee injury"

I'll add MCL sprain if it makes you feel better. Since that is what happened.

Haha, what's up with these tabloid like Subjects today?

The next thread I start will be entitled "Sex, Lies and Scandal" and it will consist of a trade idea involving Ray Allen... :)

I'm also glad the injury is not serious...

I'd like to see Big Al do well and become an all-star in this league.

I'm glad he would be there for the Wolves' season opener. Would hate to see Big Al sitting out for a long time. He's still one of my favorite players.

They're trying to make it sound worse than it is to trick people into reading about it.

"Al Jefferson has a boo-boo on his knee" would have worked for me.

Thankfully it isn't serious.  I am sure the majority of us keep a soft spot Big Al and wish him the best.  Good luck big fella.
