We have already heard the PJ may be open to coming back late in the season. Pollard and Cassell are both currently without contracts. Would not be surprised if any one of the three make an appearance depending upon the health of the team and the progress of the new acquisitions. It is clear that Cassell was/is better than most of the PG options out there and even at that was out played by House. Pruitt will be taking some of those minutes at the point and if that does not work you may see him back; but only as a backup to House or in order to play house at the 2. I actually like the idea of having House and TA or Giddens on the floor. Having two ball handlers is a common way to break down pressure. If they pressure House TA can make them pay by taking it to the hole. If he has to pull back House is waiting on the 3 point line. Same goes for pairing House and Pierce or House and RAllen, both excellent ball handlers.

And by the way we still do have a problem at SF. Anyone who thinks that TAllen is the answer there is fooling themselves - maybe Walker or Giddens; but not post injury TAllen.

Miles, and if not, we definitely have a problem unless we sign another good backup or Walker/Giddens turn out to be productive backups in their first season.

we haven't even seen pruitt play and honestly, pruitt would have probably been a better backup than cassell was last year, let alone stoudamire. you know... less bricks and every shot clock jumpers that never go down.
