Scal's actually become a little underrated of late. I am not saying he is even an average NBA player - but he is a guy you can put out there and he won't kill you. He plays good team D - smart basketball.. On O he is pretty limited and doesn't rebound as well as he should. But he makes few mental errors. You can feel safe with him as a coach..

Even if it's fact that someone at a low NBA level like Scal could dominate any of the CB.com bloggers, we still have to play our role of bball fans. We have to talk garbage about players that don't shine enough.
And as for him "shining" this year, ...no. This could be an opportune year for him to do so, but I think he'll be out played by Bill Walker and any other SF we end up picking up. Sorry Scaly fans.

If you think your role as a fan is to talk trash about the 12th man on the bench, then you might want to re-think why you are wasting your time. You can't have 12 superstars on a team because everything would be in turmoil. No one would be happy with PT or shot selection. A team like this needs someone who can fill a specific role if called upon. When KG was hurt for those few games he did just that. If you can't see that then you really must not understand the game well enough. You really ought to re-think the necessity of someone to fill the role of the mean spirited guy who can only feel good about himself if he tears someone down. That isn't a role. It is just being miserable.

OK, so your average NBA player would be the 8th man, right? Then your 11th-15th men are all pretty much going to be prospects and insurance bodies. Scal is good insurance at the 4/3. He's just overpaid.

I have the same feeling about Scal, having a breakout season this year.He has the skills,IQ,and its

his time to show what we all know he is capable of being,a defensive stopper with some offensive

capabilty.Veal is also a 3 pt threat at any given time.Im seeing what you mean Dub and with you on

this one.Scal will rock 2008-09 season.I can see Doc giving him his shot before the new guys.

Once a CrotorNat always a CROTORNAT  2 times CB draft Champion 2009-2012

Nice to be back!

It's funny how as much as we all joke on him, and other team's fans make fun of him, about him not being any good... he would still absolutely kill every single one of us, in the sport we love.

You're right.
And even if he didn't...
He'd still be laughing all
the way to the bank.

Exactly, and in 30 years, he will be the MVP of the 2008 Finals!

in 30 years he'll be 60. i don't understand your joke :p

Become Legendary.
