I think you under estimate how fast Shaq was in  his prime. He wasn't just strength, man was quick and had great instincts for the ball.

Shaq was fast, but also when he was in his prime they let him get away with murder. If they remotely called fouls on Shaq for manhandling russell I don't think he would have the problems everyone seems to be thinking he would.

Shaq might be the most physically dominant player of all time, second possibly to Wilt Chamerlain.

He's not the greatest or most skilled, but in terms of physical packages, Shaq has gotta be close to #1
