I can't wait for the preseason to start. This season has something for everyone. We have a title contender once again with multiple all stars. We also have plenty of young guys for the potential junkies who are still jonesing for Gerald.

Fans who like to have polarized views might stress out over moves or drink the Kool-Aid (turns out last year's Kool-Aid drinkers might have been just drinking water), but there is clearly plenty to keep us interested, even the guys who were getting bored of the blowouts last season.

I look forward to hearing about Giddens and Walker competing with each other in practice to get activated for a game the way Powe and BBD battled last year.

All-knowing curmudgeons might see doom and failure in the future and the delusionally optimistic might see 82-0, but we can feel pretty safe expecting a record among the top in the East and a lot of fun following player development.

The only fans that think their team can go 82-0 are Laker fans.

Andrew Bynum is the next Kareem Abdul Jabbar. You didn't know?

I agree, but there are plenty who disagree.

But we can all agree that there is a lot to anticipate and to hold our interest.

I think some of them would consider Kareem a low ceiling for the young Mr. Bynum.

EDIT:  Though in hindsight, I thought Delonte West was going to be the PG to carry us to the promised land, so maybe I oughtta shutup.
