Darius Miles reminds me so much of Slim from the Wire.

36

[dang]. Even money says that's it. And I was ahead of you too.  If he took 47 on the basis that it was the most he'd scored, I'd worry he hadn't changed.

J.R. Giddens will eventually sign. So #4 is taken.

The contract has been agreed to in principle; Giddens will be in Boston next year.

Taken by "lon3lytoaster" (page 1).

It's so weird that every number I pick has already been taken.  :(

Haha.  You need to start shooting for some of the bizarre choices, like 86.  Wait...  that's Erden's number.  Is that available?  ;)

If Darius Miles gets 86'ed this will all be an exercise in futility.

Or if he gets thrown out of a game: I can see the Herald.

MILES 86'ED!!!!!

then i say 28 , or 88 twice as good as 8,

btw

read this from yardbaker

Tell me Flavor Flav is not Darius Miles daddy and I'll call you a liar. The two have striking similarities in both personality and looks. Let's take a moment to compare. They both look like they were cut from the same mold. The hair is similar. The skin tone similar. The buggy eyes similar. The obnoxious behavior similar. They both like hootchie....... They both have ridden the coat tails of someone else to make a lot of money without ever really doing anything on their own. They both wish they could be in "New York". They both have had cameo's in movies. The bottom line is that they are related. D-Miles is an illegitimate son of Flavor Flav. Yeahhhh Boyyyyyyyyy! Now- as a Portland Trail Blazer fan I must admit that I have zero love for D-Miles. I don't like what he did in our community. I don't like how he treated the fans. I don't like how he "worked" during rehab. He is a cancer to a locker room. I say all of this for two reasons. 1. I don't want any NBA Team to make the same mistake that we made with Darius. Pay for potential that just won't materialize to anything. Also, he is simply bad for the NBA. In fact, blame him for David Sterns stance on high school kids needing a year of college (another topic- but GO BRANDON JENNINGS!!! GET YOURS!!!). 2. I don't want him to count against our salary cap. Don't get me wrong- even if he signs with someone else, I have the comfort of knowing he'll be a bust with any team and you can all but scratch them from playoff contention due to the attitude. He'll wreck Boston! That's right... I said it. Lastly, I'd rather pay the guy to leave than keep his cancerous knee (insert other body part) around my beloved Trail Blazers. Now, if you agree or have any other similarities between D-Miles and Flavor Flav- give up the goods. Yeahhhhh Boyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeee!
