This is a hilarious post about the differences between KG's and Odom's non-game day routines:

KG doesn't practice 12 hours a day LOL

Lamar Odom is a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.! Remember when Lamar was making a killin with miami. Ever since he got wit Kobe he's not himself no more.

Is this real?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say "no".  It's a clear distortion / exaggeration of the  truth.  For instance, everyone knows that Lamar imbibes much more than 8 times per day.

I'm an anti-DJ Gallo fan.  His columns put me to sleep.

Are you referring to his work at ESPN, or his own personal site -- SportsPickle.com -- or both?  As you might imagine, there certainly seems to be an "imitation is the highest form of flattery" vibe from the general layout of your site -- though I confess I've been multi-tasking a bit tonight and haven't had a real chance to check out a ton of your content yet.

I understand there's that comparison, but I didn't know about sportspickle.com until after I got the sportscucumber.com url.  I'm thinking we're copying The Onion Sports section more than sportspickle even though DJ used to write for the Onion.

I don't know, we're just a bunch of Boston natives having some fun while we're bored at work.

Fair enough, just curious on this end.  I'll be taking a look when I have a few minutes later in the evening.

I first saw the thread and thought," Hmm. Someone took the time to compare the nitty gritty details of KG vs Odoms game?" But instead it turns out to be some other clown's joke comparison of how KG is a true worker vs. Odom being a typical celeb (completely exaggerated on both ends but still). Oh Well. My initial comment to post before reading the link was how KG led the celts, and Odom was just completely lost and an embarrassment for us lefty ballers...
Can't stop, Rondo!

I am in the OC this week and there is a Del Taco across the street from the hotel. Needless to say, I was curious to check it out.

While I cannot comment on the tacos, I can attest that the "Double Del Cheeseburger" is a seriously overlooked performer on the burger scene. Two patties, two slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato and special sauce. Sort of like an In-n-Out Double Double animal style from the secret menu, or a double-cheeseburger/Big Mac hybrid.

Pickles would be nice but who's complaining.

Can't speak for LA but in OC I have seen almost as many Celtics jerseys and T-shirts (2) as Lakers paraphernalia (3 Shaq jerseys, no Kobe).

LOL...I don't know how long he works out but I think in the offseason (I read this couple seasons back), he wakes up to go for a morning run by the beach at 6ish. Some strength and conditioning, shooting, then lunch, then more shooting, some (more) weights, and then work on his game in general and possibly 'scrimmage'.
Anything is possible!!!

Hi guys, I wrote the KG-Odom piece on Sportscucumber. We launched two days ago and will continue to have a lot of Celtics content, as we are huge Celtics fans. Please check the site regularly.

Really. I have it on good authority that he kills the bobcat with his bare hands but eats it using silverware.
