Speaking of just getting back from sports, I just came back from my bball game. Lost by one point in the playoffs  :'(

And I passed up the game winning shot  :-[

What League? MA?

Nah, New York

How much you score?
16

New Yorker?  Where from?  What league are you playing in?

Nets (1:50) then Knicks (1:55) on the clock right?

ubuntu, y'all!

There's been a bdm860 sighting!

(sorry can you tell i'm bored at work?)

lol, sorry, it takes a little more time to make these picks in the later rounds (and I'm working too).

The Nets select Morris Peterson .

Fan favorite, very good defender, clutch performer, 3 point shooter.  Starting 2 guard for a 56 win team last year.  I like this pick.

Yeah, Mo Pete is nice value here.  Not nearly as good as you make him sound (;)), but still a very nice pick.

(Out of curiosity, when did Mo get the "clutch performer" tag?)

Since I looked him up in wikipedia this morning.  ;D

Peterson's production faced a steady decline, before stepping up in the wake of the new era of Raptor youngsters being ushered in, taking on a more expansive leadership role and transforming himself into an elite perimeter defender, a clutch performer and consistent scorer. He is known for his three-point shooting, acrobatic shots, defense, and fearless driving to the basket.

Surprising number of names I still like on the board in the 9th round.....

That said, the ORLANDO MAGICS select Matt Barnes

-----

The MAGICS would also like to note that they hold the 5th pick in the 10th round and have equal interest in moving up to the mid/late 9th round and moving down to the mid/late 10th round.

Good pick, GC...equally surprised he fell so far.  Had my eye on that bugger as well.

The Charlotte Bobcats select the better of the two young Wright's Julian Wright.

Who doesn't love a little propaganda?  ;)

I had the distinct displeasure of seeing him absolutely obliterate my Mizzou boys in person in his final season in college -- to the tune of 30 points and 12 boards in a blowout by rival KU.  Ugh.

count me as agreeing with RichT24 --- i like Julian over Brandon.

thanks steve, i woulda liked to see Barnes end up in Boston rather than Phoenix, but a spot on the fake ORLANDO MAGICS will have to do... ;)

The best move is to put what wikipedia says in your own words, then to use the sources that wikipedia cites as your own sources ;-).
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

People who think that Julian is going to be better than Brandan Wright have lost their minds. ;)

(I do like J. Wright's potential.  He's stuck with that "jack of all trades, master of none" type of game, though.)

Still a lot of useful players out there and some who will be very good backups in the real NBA this year, a couple starters still left too which is strange...

Its interesting that even after 240 players selected teams are getting good value. I've got a few players I want still available.

Well I mean don't forget this game is only 3/5 over...we got a little less than half a game to play still

Yi Jianlian is available for a suck-ish PF and a 9th rounder.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
In need of a veteran in the frontcourt, the Cavs select:

Mikki Moore.

And then demand that he pronounce his name as it's spelled.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.
