it's rumoured that while this was going on, kevin durant was in the gym lifting weights. he's said to be benching around 180kg now. a vast improvement under our management.

he can bench 400lbs?!?!?!?!

Well, he couldn't even do *one* rep of 185 pounds at the scouting combine, so I'd say his strength isn't what it could be.

The Portland Trailblazers are happy to hear that Kevin Durant has "bulked up", as so much of his game was predicated upon his fluidness and agility.  The Blazers only hope that Durant's bulk proves to be equally as effective as Kobe Bryant's did, when he gained 20 pounds of muscle and saw it negatively impact his game.

Best of luck to my fellow GM to the southwest.  He's going to need it.

In other news, T.J. Ford's spinal column has been fitted with adamantium.

This just in....during a private workout, Mike Conely Jr was accidentally bitten by a radioactive spider that gave him superhuman strength and jumping ability...sadly, he can no longer let go of the ball. It just sticks to his hand.

brilliant!

seriously though, with extra strength durant wont get beaten up if we decide to ever move him to the 4. the possibilities are endless.

as for kobe, he did win the mvp after gaining 20 pounds.

Nope.  After he gained, and then decided to lose, those 20 pounds. ;)

But, TP for fighting the good fight.  It's hard to argue with a 6'11" Kevin Durant, even if he is rail thin.
