I love you brotha but don't hate.  ::)

This team is young, stacked and destined for at least 1 title run within a 5 - 7 years With the shelf life growing every round:

C  - Andrew Bogut    11/28/84  - 23 Years Old
PF - Lamar Odom      11/06/79 -  29 Years Old
SF - Gerald Wallace   07/23/82 - 26 Years Old
SG - Kevin Martin     02/01/83 - 25 Years Old
PG - Tony Parker      05/17/82 - 26 Years Old

AVG Age 25.8

With a 3 time NBA champion, NBA finals MVP as the captain and running the point?

I would see Mr. Hobbs in the WCF every year.

you've got a good team, but i don't see a dominant player there. i can't see anyone who's gonna take over a game (potentially kevin martin), i see a pf who would be dominated at that position, a center who i personally don't see maturing into a great player and a quality sf who's always injured. parker is a star, but with in 3-4 years he wont be a top 5 point guard in this league. maybe.

i think you've got a quality team that could go far, but not a dominant team.

i think after 3 rounds you've done an awesome job putting that together though, i tip my hat to you.

- Tony Parker is a dominant player who took over an NBA finals forget a game. At 31 years old (4 or 5 years from now) he won't be a top 5 PG? What are you basing this on? Recent history shows PG dominating into their early/mid 30's with Nash Winning an MVP at age 32 (born in 74 MVP in 06) and the top five list right now.

5. Jason Kidd/35
4. Steve Nash/34
3. Deron Williams/24
2. Tony Parker/26
1. Chris Paul/23

- Bogut has continued to improve every season and last year AVG 14 and 10 with 3 assists and just under 2 blocks a game. If he stayed in college last year was his Rookie season. He might not be an all-star (although I believe he will be) but he is a legit 7 footer with great hands who just needs to be solid on this team.

- Odom would be dominated at the 4? By whom other than KG? Kenyan Martin, Boozer and David West couldn't do it. Although I agree Odom is not a prototypical PF recent history shows you can be 2 wins away from a title with Odom playing the 4.

Lets not base Lamar's ability at the PF spot on the fact he looked like a child against KG. Remember, Garnett is by far the best at that position in the league.

- No denying Wallace is often injured, I won't argue that. But when he is playing he is the best defensive SF in the game.

Overall I'm just amazed Tony Parker fell to me in the 2nd round. I had him as a top 15 pick. This guy is a winner and who gets the job done.

I wouldn't have Tony Parker at 2nd as the best PG in the league, he's the 5th best tops, IMO.

I'm not basing this strictly on numbers. He's a winner.

You mean he was on a team with Tim Duncan, now he's a winner.  You could of replaced Tony Parker with lots of PG's and the Spurs wouldn't have missed a beat in their title runs.

Kidd/Billups/Nash would fight over the 4 and 5 spots :)

and with Parker and Williams I could flip a coin.

I still put Nash above Parker and Deron.  Dude averaged 17 and 11 while shooting 47 percent from 3 while only having one DNP last year and playing 34 minutes a game.

I like your team a lot.  The only weaknesses I see are: 1) you lack a true superstar, 2) Odom's level of effort is very inconsistent, and 3) Gerald Wallace has some health issues.

Those things aren't fatal.  I think many people are forgetting that this isn't a 10-team all-star league.  We've got 30 NBA franchises, and for you to put together a team of five players who are probably all well above average at their positions is impressive.  It will be interesting to see what depth you add.

He plays no D and can't win in the playoffs.

Parker is averaging 18 points and 6 assists.  Ill take Nash any day.  I mean look at guys like diaw and bell who he single handedly made their careers.

Idk about Bell he's an all defensive player. I'm not sure how nash makes him that.
