at the end of three rounds i'm liking the look of:

Detroit Pistons - Allen Iverson, Chris Bosh, Hedo Turkoglu
Los Angeles Clippers - Dirk Nowitzki, Rip Hamilton, Ron Artest
Minnesota Timberwolves - Lebron James, Jose Calderon, Andris Biedrins
Portland Trailblazers - Amare Stoudamire, Andre Iguodala, Rudy Gay, Al Horford, T.J. Ford

for different reasons i think these are the best franchises, other than the las vegas lakers:

Las Vegas Lakers - Kevin Durant, Chris Kaman, O.J. Mayo, Jermaine O'Neal

Thanks Maestro.

CFF, You're right the West is tough. I'd add Houston to the list too. In the East CFF, I think the Nets and Hawks are right there with you.

I know, just talkin some trash  ;D

Hey, if anyone is interested in acquring some very late picks, I'm offering up a 13th, 14th, and 2 15th. This is a great oppurtunity if you lack depth. PM me with the best offer, I'm looking for one pick in return.

i was thinking about houston, but i don't think their starting 5 can win now or in the future. it's dangerous, but not a championship calibre team imo. early days yet though.

I love you brotha but don't hate.  ::)

This team is young, stacked and destined for at least 1 title run within a 5 - 7 years With the shelf life growing every round:

C  - Andrew Bogut    11/28/84  - 23 Years Old
PF - Lamar Odom      11/06/79 -  29 Years Old
SF - Gerald Wallace   07/23/82 - 26 Years Old
SG - Kevin Martin     02/01/83 - 25 Years Old
PG - Tony Parker      05/17/82 - 26 Years Old

AVG Age 25.8

With a 3 time NBA champion, NBA finals MVP as the captain and running the point?

I would see Mr. Hobbs in the WCF every year.

What are the parameters of a young team exactly anyway? I have a team with an AVG age under 26 and that's not young enough?  We should have a cut-off for this next season or some type of AVG age limit.

you've got a good team, but i don't see a dominant player there. i can't see anyone who's gonna take over a game (potentially kevin martin), i see a pf who would be dominated at that position, a center who i personally don't see maturing into a great player and a quality sf who's always injured. parker is a star, but with in 3-4 years he wont be a top 5 point guard in this league. maybe.

i think you've got a quality team that could go far, but not a dominant team.

i think after 3 rounds you've done an awesome job putting that together though, i tip my hat to you.

I concur. Odom's one of the best flakiest players out there, and at PF he's going to take some punishment down on the blocks.

Crash Wallace and Tony Parker are only 26, but both have taken a beating in this league. The window of opportunity is not so great with them.

I like Martin as a cornerstone, and Bogut is steady, although not spectacular. It's a playoff caliber squad, for sure, but I'm not sure it's championship contending material.

Teams nobody is talking about that are putting dangerous teams together.

Knicks
PG Miller
SG
SF Lewis
PF KG
C

Raptors

PG Billups
SG Carter
SF
PF Jamison
C  Big Z.

Both teams are loaded with guys with playoff experience primed to win now.

Every team needs more.  But the first 3 rounds are for the key guys.  After this, it is about finding the role players that fit your team and the style you want to play.

any chance  we could veto my trade with Roy?  That wouldn't confuse things too much at this point.  ;)I'm starting to see what the Bobcats former management was talking about about that deal :(

Ugghhh-ly squad in OKC (as is only fitting I suppose)

The Angry Pickles will always put up a good fight though

Yup

I seem to remember telling you it was a terrible trade when you started advertising it.
