So the Cav's already have 2 SG's, does this mean his 1st round pick will be his 6th man?

But he added a franchise guy without giving up anything in the top 30.

Great move by him.  He can always trade Manu for one of the upcoming picks.

Big trade.

Pistons send: Dwyane Wade, 4th rounder (17) 5th rounder (10) and 9th rounder (10)

to Cavs for:

2nd rounder (8 ), 3rd rounder (23), 4th rounder (8 ), 15th rounder (23)

Nice move by both teams --- though i think my offer was a little better (that's subjective of course.... )  ;D

Manu is flexible.  I feel like I can put him at the 3 in a pinch.  Or maybe I have more moves up my sleeve.  Either way I'm comfortable with what I have, and I no long have the pressure of getting my pick in before my staff meeting.  Win/win.

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

because ive had a ton of PM's on it, here is the kings offical stance on thier pick in the second round:

we would possably consider trading it, but would be looking for a lower 2nd AND a additional pick in the later rounds. we feel that with the talent left on the board, staying in the second round and getting a latter pick is reasonable.

This is frustrating... how is this legit?  I don't see how it's a good trade for the Pistons.  They lose by far the best player possible in this deal and basically get 2 support-maybe-stars and lose another potential starter (5th round).  Seems like a steal by the Cavs to me.

He traded a 1st for a 2nd, 3rd and the ability to move up in the 4th.  He was happy about it.

So is LBJ at #2 pick  ;)

I made a similar offer to CFF.... with the 2,3 and 4th round picks he should find 3 starters... of course he would have got more if he'd taken my offer  ;)

There are legit issues about whether Wade can stay healthy, and Detroit clearly wanted not to take the chance with him.  Cleveland might (that's still a big might depending on who they each draft) have got the better of the deal, but it's clearly legit.

I got offered a similar offer for Wade, and I turned it down.  I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I certainly see it as a legit move, rather than one that should be vetoed.

Any yes, the guy who ended up with Lebron at #2 shouldn't be too frustrated about anything. ;)

I just think people are undervaluing how valuable a franchise player like Wade is.... but if both GMs are happy and the Commish okayed it, then it's all good.

That may be BigTicket, but if you think it was a low offer, nothing is stopping you from offering the Cavs a better one to get Wade.  :)
