I like everybody else think Pierce and Garnett would be at or near the top but agree wholeheartedly with jdub's comments - if they did it, at this point, it'd have to be three players.
I think Lebron would have to be teamed with Zydrunas, but Gibson or Delonte available to go smaller. Kobe would have to be teamed with Gasol, and Odom or Bynum available.
On some others mentioned, I think if it was two, Miami would be Wade and Marion for the time being, and with Washington, I think Arenas and Butler rather than Jamison (but Jamison as the alternate). Again, more reason to go with three.
Some good ones I haven't seen mentioned include Howard and Hedo in Orlando (Rashard Lewis the third) and Chauncey and Sheed in Detroit (with Rip as third). For the style of play of NBA Jam, I think Josh Smith and Joe Johnson in Atlanta would be pretty sick, with Horford as the third. OJ Mayo and Rudy Gay would fit that style of play well, but a third (Conley? Warrick?) would cause problems. I think Ford and Granger, Kevin Martin and Artest, and maybe Rose and Deng, could also make good two-man video game teams.
