I know the commish said to hold off all trades until the rules are posted but we can still discuss them via PM's, right?
I agree with this and would like to say that I am willing to talk about any of my picks especially the 3rd pick overall. PM me offers.

See, now  that would be a violation.  It could cost you a league fine.   ;)
I have a tp with you name on it if you make the fine go away.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

  • The good ole days.
I still don't fully understand how this works.

We are drafting players based on value of their contract... correct?  No stats/records/etc will be kept, this is merely to draft a team, and make trades with the idea of assembling the best combination of on-paper talent and contract value?  Is that correct?

Thanks.

Not quite.  Contract value is irrelevant.  Just draft players, to create the best fictional team.

Okay... so basically a fantasy draft without any sort of score keeping?  (And players like Battier/Posey/etc are more valuable in a draft like this than in fantasy?)  Think I get it now, thanks.  Fear the Wolves.

The Clippers eh. Thankfully I have a team where the bar has not been set to high. Also I can pretty much move them where I want, who's going to complain Billy Crystal? The Sports Guy?

Yep, except rather than focusing exclusively on stats, you're worried about things like team building, roster construction, etc.  These guys have to play next to each other, so maybe it's not the best idea to draft Zach Randolph and Eddy Curry.  Not that anybody would be dumb enough to actually do that in real life, of course.

  • Yup
Just realized my connection to the real Thunder.

The Thunder GM and I played basketball at the same college (the only difference being he actually had some talent and played at a time when the schools program was a legit D3).

TP to whoever can name the school first?
