Tough to predict, but here are a few buy-out candidates:

Donyell Marshall
Stephon Marbury (if not bought out before the season)
Trenton Hassell
Bobby Simmons
Antoine Walker (God help us)

Slim pickins, but most of these guys would be more useful than, say, Devean George...

Alonzo Mourning is a good candidate for this year's PJ, and I would say Marbury as this year's Sam

I think so too. I just hope that if we get one, it's Zo and not Starbury...

Wow, you think we can land Welsh national team star PJ Borwn?!? Might have to buy out his contract with the Cardiff City Netballers...

I think Zo would be great.  However, unlike PJ, he already has a ring, so the allure might be less.

But he and Perk would form a formidable defensive force down low.  There would arguably be no defensive drop off with Perk on the bench.

The Marbury talk is making me a wee bit ill.

Someone mentioned Brad Miller yesterday.  Perhaps a bit lofty for a buyout signing, but  I like it as a dream scenario.

What can Zo have left in the tank at this point?

Dikembe is either in Houston or done at this point.

Guess that leaves PJ.  I just wish he'd sign for the whole season if he's coming, but beggars can't be choosers.
Yup

I am a little confused as to whether we can have a Sam and PJ.  Right now we have 12 of 15 roster spots set (the starting five, house, ta, scals, big baby, powe, o'bryant, and pruitt).

If we sign Giddens (is this required, first rounders are guaranteed, right) and Bill Walker, doesn't that then put us at 14.  Meaning we can only sign one other player be it Miles, George, Ross, etc.

Personally, I would like to see us sign Miles, and then possibly Zo (or PJ Brown) after the All Star Break, but is that possible?

I want Zo if he comes back which isn't likely. Antoine is a buyout canidate later in the year. Most of the buyout canidates will not be evident for a long long time.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I really hope PJ is this year's PJ.

Keep in mind that PJ's going to be a year older next June. I doubt he'll be as effective as he was.
