I would be willing to bet there are contracts all set up and ready for the coaching staff. Just waiting for the press release, god knows why. Danny is a slippery one though so nothing would surprise me. 8)

Not sure I buy the replacement by committee (multiple pieces) argument that Ainge used earlier. T Allen is too small to take Posey's minutes. We need a Finley or Miles until Walker can prove himself. The other thing that hurts is we were able to play Powe and Davis @ PF because we had height @ SF. Take away that height and you are vulnerable playing undersized PF's. Would feel better with a C/F like Ellison or a SF like Fabio (W) Hermann. Too many question marks to go into the season without an extra roster spot.

IMO, Finley completes this bench.  Hopefully Danny signs him.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I just heard a replay of Danny's interview on WEEI this AM and it sounds like the team is set. I think they are counting on Tony Allen to get Posey's minutes, especially as a perimeter defender. He said he's had no talk about George and Finley's name didn't come up. He's not looking to replace Posey with a similar type of player (of which there are none) and they may have to do something else to defend the bigs that Posey did a good job against. So I don't think we'll see other player moves. They did talk about him going on vacation. He said his family is gone and he expects to leave soon, but has some business to finish up on and mentioned,in passing the coaches. So maybe we'll see something about the assistant coaches in the next few days. But he really didn't mention specifics. If you go to weei.com and look around you can find the interview to download and listen to:

We need to sign some bodies to fill out the roster one way or another it's not done.
