before he Posey's away.
Sign him for three years on the cheap.
He will be healthy next year, God willing, and produce big time.
Time for him to be Sixth Man.

i totally agree, week to week the guys we're talking about signing are getting worse, its time to get our man signed so he can consentrate on next year, becuase TA at 100% (which we didn't see last year) is a beast on both sides of the ball. SIGN TA!

Right on the money xmuscularghandix! I'd also like for the Cs to get House resigned too.. Both TA and House know the system, they're in-sync with the Cs. They showed last year they are in with the "ubuntu" ideology.. They ought to be here with the Cs again when they try to repeat and capture Banner 18!

Make a list of all the guys that are going to be cut before the start of the season plus look at the expected over the luxury tax numbers of the Celtics in years 2 and 3. Then decide if Eddie and Tony are worth 3 years. If you expect the Celtics to get in a financial bind like Denver did, then throw money around. It is easy to give away the companies money when it isn't yours. In my opinion, two years max with a team option on year 3 for tony and a straight two for eddie with a low contract. Otherwise you aren't being a responsible manager

I've been saying this for awhile. Tony and House are the pieces we need to help for a repeat. We still have spots to fill, but experience/chemistry with a team is 10x better than signing free agents that might be a little better that don't know the system. Tony and House aren't really risks. The only risk is the contract of dollar amount. House deserves more money and years, as Tony I think still needs one year to earn bigger cash due to his injury. Maybe go 25-75 with the MLE between Tony and House.
Can't stop, Rondo!

I think we can sign Tony Allen without using part of the MLE.. the Birds Rights.. not very sure though..

And if they're going for House for more than the min, they can use non-bird rights on him...

Nice, we still have the MLE intact.. That is if that's the way the Cs are going to take..

If your God is such a Celtics fan, why did he kill Bias?

Pass on the turnover prone flake who isn't that good of a player.   The guy isn't as good as either Maurice Evans OR Matt Barnes (whom I don't particularly care for).  There are a lot of better alternatives out there.

FYI ... don't consider Quentin Ross and his one dimensional game one of them.

Tony and House are the pieces we need to help for a repeat.

Can't disagree. You can't expect to repeat with 4-rookies(Giddens, Walker, Pruitt, O'Bryant) House and T-Allen bring the leadership and scoring off the bench.

I wouldn't be comfortable with that bench. It would be last year's bench without Posey and PJ, 2 of the top 8 players and 4 rookies whose productivity is unpredictable by definition. We'd be to slim in the frontcourt as well and too undersized in the wings.

Maybe not house, but TA must comeback.

I think Danny should sign him now too.  What good perimeter defenders are left out there?  The well seems to be drying up quick.  Not a lot of good talent left out there.  I'm starting to think Danny is counting on rookies for a lot this year, which I feel is a huge mistake. :(
