I thought PJ was going to join the Hornets last season. He'd have been a magnificent addition for them, maybe enough for them to get out of the West. Likely more valuable than Posey will be.

Surprised that he said he was 50-50 about coming back. If he does I expect Boston will be the first name on his list, the draw of coming back to defend a title is pretty strong. It's not like anyone is going to offer a huge amount of extra money for PJ to draw him away from Boston.

Yeah, I remember PJ saying if he did come back, he would only come back to play for Boston.  Of course that could change.

I do believe that the Celtics will leave 1 or 2 spots open just in case PJ changes his mind, and for a buyout later in the season. For now we'll just roll with what we have, and maybe add 1 more player.

I would love to have PJ back.  He was always one of my favortie players even before he was on the C's  However, if were still on the market for a vet big man, we just cant assume he'll want to sign with us in March again.

Keeping a roster spot open for him is nice.  But if Kurt Thomas showed interest in coming here for a reasonable deal, you guys wouldnt be all over it??
