Will the Celts repeat their dominate performance in the regular season next year and once again secure the number 1 seed, or having won a championship, will there be somewhat of a letup in intensity and will we loose the coveted prize of homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs?
It's tough to say seeing as we don't know what our roster is going to be, but I think that given how exhausted these guys were by the end of the playoffs, they might see the benefit in toning it down a bit during the regular season. But at the same time, the Celts aren't gonna need 66 wins to get HCA, at least not in the East.
I'm confident Ainge will bring in some players to round out the roster, and that coupled with another year together, the Celtics should definitely be the favorite to get the #1 seed in the East. Overall will be tough, because the Hornets will be improved, and they won 56 last year. The Lakers will also have a lot to prove after getting beat down in the finals and branded as soft.
