Thought this was a pretty interesting rumor...seems like Billups has been in quite a few trade rumors this offseason.  I guess they are ready to hand over the reigns to Stuckey.

I don't see how that trade is good for either team.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

That would be a disastrous error for the Pistons. A real coup for the Warriors, Biedrins isn't much of a player.

There's no truth to this rumour whatsoever. Fun read.

Too bad the Warriors jumped the gun on Turiaf. I'd think they're kicking themselves for not getting Camby instead. A Billups, Monta, Maggette, Harrington, Camby lineup with S. Jackso as the 6th man would be interesting.

Biedrnis isn't much of a player? He averages a double double and is 23 years old. If Biedrnis isn't much of a player than Perkins must be pure crap.

Okay that was a little harsh. I meant to say he's no star and is thus no comparison to a player like Billups. He's a decent role player. He's a below par defender, he's a rebounder who doesn't box out and gives up too many boards, and he offers very little on the offensive side of the floor. He needs to learn how to play some defense. It's hard to say how much potential he has when he hasn't shown any improvement in over a year.

Now that would be a good deal for the Pisotns. I don't think Golden State would do it. If it was Billups, Maxiell for Biedrnis, Ellis then I think it works for both teams.
