Pierce, KG, and Ray should..

Pierce, KG, and Ray Allen should all throw a couple million dollars each at posey to try and persuade him to stay.  Is there any rules in the NBA that dont allow this?

Ha. I've suggested something like this before. There are rules, but if they gave him "gifts" under the table, I don't think there is anything someone could do about that. People wouldn't know anyways.

yea they should definately just throw some money at him under the table.  The big 3 are making so much money that they could easily throw some at posey because he is a huge asset in order to make another championship run.

That would never happen. The big 3 might take him out to a steak dinner, and KG might buy him a nice suit, but they won't give away a million bucks. If money was that worthless, then KG wouldn't have demanded such a huge extension before he was traded to Boston.

I don't think you'd the team would get penalized if it turned out KG gave a 300k gift to Tyrone Lue or Eddie House. There are guys who are willing to take a little less (see Arenas in Wash and Brand turning down GS), so to think that KG at 25 mil or Allen at 17.5 mil could dish out a little gift isn't completely unbelievable. Then again, when Sprewell's kids were starving, I didn't see KG feeding them :P
