For our team, I feel that Ray Allen is much more important than the adding Marion for Allen. Nobody else on the team can hit shots like Ray Ray, especially if the rest of the team can't buy one. If House is gone, then Ray is very important to the team.

Why waste the shooting stroke and dependability and heart of Ray Ray in exchange for an overpaid whiny Marion. He messed up his career by leaving Nash. Marion is good for defense and catching alley oops. He's awful at the PF position and his shooting percentages won't work for SF. He's an extreme dunker with the lack up confidence to actually run up and dunk on someone. Keep ray allen and thank marion for not winding up in Boston.
Can't stop, Rondo!

If the right trade came along like Ray Allen, poor Ray!
You mean that poor guy who came in second in the voting for the Finals MVP?

If the right trade came along like Ray Allen, poor Ray! for Shawn Marion. Would he then jump at the chance to get with a proven winner and play with Pierce & Garnett or would he simply not change his mind although K.G. once declined & changed his mind once they acquired better more proven veterans. He would bring alot to the table for us like defense, rebounding & flexibility to play the 3 & 4 spots & Pierce could slide back to the 2. Its just hypothetical because we all know he looked at the C's as a whole in the wall losing team with no signs of life. Now it has been restored in he is in a whole in Miami now & they are looking to trade him to the ultimate whole in Clipperland. lol do you guys think he would accept now?

Sliding Pierce to the 2 would make him less effective, especially defensively.  His best position is SF.  There is no way Doc is moving him to another position to accommodate Shaw Marion, who really doesn't even fit with this team.
