Powe. Sorry people Davis is NOT "more talented" then Powe. Powe does nearly everything better then Davis right now.. I don't want to hear about his "passing" he is averaging 1.6 assists per 48. Davis can't get off the ground and has suspect athleticism. Honestly if Davis doesnt' get his conditioning in shape he might be cut.

Powe is more effective around the hoop. Powe actually shot his jumper BETTER then Davis. There is much to say about Davis but most of it is negative..

As funny as it may sound considering how well he played this season and most of the playoffs - I think Rondo is going to make a big leap next year.

I believe all of the playoff experience and success will bring him a new level of confidence that was lacking at times last year.  In addition, he is going to continue to mature both physically and mentally.

I would not be surprised if he made the all-star team next year.

HOW ABOUT JD DREW!!!!!

Well, the one thing that Davis does significantly better than Powe is play team defense.  But that is where I expect Powe to work the most on this offseason, and I expect that he will come in next season much better in that area, which will make him a much more consistent contributor.

I do think Davis will be very much improved though, if he gets in better shape.  He is not a leaper, but he has excellent quickness for a man his size, and is very skilled. He should be trying to lose some weight, and really working on his perimeter shooting, because with his lack of height and explosiveness down low, he will be most effective playing out on the perimeter a bit more offensively.

I think Davis is the more skilled player. Powe relies more on his tenacity and athletic strength, Davis relies on strength and footwork...they're both very much alike because they're both very flawed.

I think either Pruitt or Davis will make the bigger jump..Pruit because he'll have a complete offseason with the Celtics and the Celtics will know now better what he can and can't do, Davis because if he loses some more weight but retains his strength he'll be a monster. Work on the mid range, baby.

Rondo.  He is already an elite defensive PG.  He will refine the offense more.  He will leap to all-NBA level, though he might not have the cred among the press to be on an all-NBA team.

I think Powe, Perkins, and Davis have topped out talent-wise…they might get more consistent but they won’t show off any “new” skills.

I disagree.  It's hard for me to say that BBD has reached his ceiling after a very inconsistent rookie year.  I think as he gets into better shape, his athleticism will improve, making him better on both ends of the court.  I also don't think BBD has scratched the surface with his passing skills, and has yet to show case his jumper, which he featured in the NCAA.

I'd go with Davis as having the most ability to make a big improvement from last year, not only in the above areas, but certainly with his consistency.  This year, I expect more steady performances, rather than the constant ups-and-downs of last year.

I also expect to see some good things out of Pruitt.  I don't think he'll have a huge role, but he should be a guy who can occasionally get the ball to the rim off the bench.

I think you'll see Powe and Perk try to improve their offensive games.  Both have demonstrated range on their jumpers, Powe in college and Perk in practice.  Also, Powe definitely could improve on the defensive end, in terms of proper rotations, etc.

With the rookies, I don't expect a whole lot.  O'Bryant...  Well, if he adds more of a contribution than Pollard did last season, I'll be impressed.

Roy,

I watched quite a few of Powe's games in college and I might recall once or twice where he shot a jumper beyond 12 ft. In fact, I've seen Powe shoot more jumpers beyond 12 ft as a Celtic this year than his whole career as a Cal Bear. To be honest with you, I was surprised Powe even had a jumper.
