I was reading the hartford courant this morning and it said that Rondo and Eddie House were both invited to play in the greater hartford pro am.  Im definately gonna go watch if they are playing.  Ryan Gomes is also playing along with a bunch of uconn players and Jared Jordan!!!

Thanks for the info.  Do you know when and where the games will be?

I would be very surprised if management allowed him to go...the last thing they need to see is Rondo tearing an ACL in a glorified pickup game.

I wouldn't be, its not like guys play hard in that game. its glorified practice.

So long as Scal isn't there, no one should get hurt.

Good to see that my Marist boy Jared Jordan will be back in his old stomping grounds.  I would love to watch him and Rondo on the same court.  Two of my favorite PGS of all time.  Both have very unique games that I find fun to watch.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Of course they said Gerald Green was expected to show up last year too and he never did.  I'd say the only sure bets to show up are Ryan Gomes, Tebucky Jones, and Jared Jordan, and Jordon will probably only be there much later in the summer cuz he's hopefully going to be playing for some NBA summer league teams (I hope so anyways, really hope that guy makes the NBA).  Vin Baker will probably show up too.  Ray Allen and Marcus Camby are outside shots, due to there CT roots, then I'd say House and Rondo are the longest shots of showing up, along with anybody else Gomes might invite in (if he's tight with Big Al and brings him by that would be pretty cool too).  FYI - these are just my opinions from going to the GHPA in the past.

There are 2 games a day on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Games start at 6:30 on Monday and Wednesday, 5pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday.

It's a little middle school gym in the north end of Hartford.

305 Greenfield St
Hartford, CT 06112

Gym only holds a couple of hundred, early in the summer it's rarely full, but once the playoffs roll around it's packed.  Still even if you get there a half hour after games are supposed to start you should have no problem finding a seat. (Games rarely start on time).  Oh ya, and that gym gets hot.  No airconditioning in there, so be prepared to sweat.

Check this youtube clip out, this is the gym when it's packed.  Standing room only.

Might be a good idea to have Scal and Tony Allen on hand in case Rondo gets hurt. That way they can pick him up off the floor, put him in a wheelchair get him in a car and drive him to the hospital.

I mean, that has been their responsibilities for this team recently, hasn't it?

I know that Jared Jordan didnt get much playing time in Europe but i heard he made some decent money.  And i am also pretty sure that jared will be playing on the suns summer league team which is pretty cool because his great court vision reminds me of nash.

Rajon, please stay away from that league, if the YouTube clip is indicative of the quality of play.
