^^^ Seems that he can dribble with both hands and is more athletic though.

But can Pruitt get beat by the opposing point guard on a regular basis?

I always thought Pruitt was kinda like Delonte, but I havent seen it and I dont think we will. Delonte is fierce and agressive, I dont see Pruitt playing like that.

Pruitt is kinda like a poor man's version of Delonte West, and that my friend is a sad state of affairs... he's Dwest without the hussle, just as you said (and without the awesome ears, portwine stain or crazy sense of humour)
How do you know that?  I've heard Pruitt actually has pretty good hustle. Have you seen him play?

I would rather see booby gibson come over from the cavs and he would probably be easier to sign out of restricted free agency

You would rather have booby than delonte?

Wouldn't it make sense to make a move at Delonte under the premise that the Cavs will match it? The Cavs could still offer the MLE to Posey, but it would pretty much insure that they wouldn't keep him for 4 years

Yep, Gibson is a better player than Delonte.

no, but I think it would be a more likely option, and booby has been known to shoot the lights out

Booby can hit 3's with the pressure on.

and without the injuries, usually self inflicted by his hustle.

This is a bad idea. D. West is our ace in the hole over there in Cleveland. The more mediocre "hustle" guys we can surround Lebron with the better. It will keep real talent off that team..

Mediocre and hustle don't go all that well together in the NBA. In fact, when I think of mediocrity, I think of RD and Mark Blount, both of whom are overpaid and don't hustle.

Just like what Red did to the Knicks when they wanted McHale...

Or, it completely backfires, because you have most of your MLE money tied up in an offer sheet, so you can't offer Posey anything but a contract under his non-Bird rights (which he will not accept). So Posey signs with another team a few days later, and you don't get Gibson or West anyway because after 9 days of keeping the Celtics' MLE money tied up on an offer sheet (during which time, several potential Posey replacements could be snatched up as well), Cleveland matches the offer. Seems to me it would be horrible for us.
Go Celtics.

Just like his buddy Jameer Nelson is doing in Orlando. DWest could make a real career 6th man next to Posey. He is a scrapper and he plays with heart. He will struggle with Lebron until he leaves if he sticks around there. Delonte could become a large part of our team like he was becoming here before he was traded.

Hey what a great idea. Spend the MLE on another combo guard who is streaky with shooting and cant handle the ball for crap...I love it.

I think we should buyout one of Scals remaining two seasons and trade his expiring contract along with a young prospect for Delonte. If Delonte wants most of the MLE the Cavs might make a trade to save money while picking up a prospect.

I'm sure Delonte would take a three year extension on his current contract to play with his old team. That would take him off the books when Pierces contract runs out, setting us up to get a FA when KG's deal is up the following year.
