I realize that there are the Randy Mosses of the worlds and situations in which certain people can clean up their act, but personally, I'm still taking "Artest on his best behavior for a year" as even more unrealistic than the trade actually happening.  Which makes it quite a stretch -- and also makes me pretty okay with the fact that I have a hard time seeing a move like this going down.

Can you modify the thread and replace "Hear" with "Here" thanks ;)

But "hear" instead of "here" is entirely equivallent to the level of logic expressed here.;)

Its not really worth debating how he would fit in considering there is no way in hell the deal can be pulled off.  Not only is his contract near impossible to match for the Celtics while keeping their big guys put, but considering his contract is expiring AND hes talented, you can be sure he will be a hot commodity down the road and will pull in a whole lot more than some BS package of Big Baby, Scal, Pruitt, and whatever else needs to be thrown in to match contracts.

I just noticed that and was on the scene...Of course I once caused a stir by editing a correctly used "affect" for an incorrectly corrected "effect", but hey, it's the thought that counts

haha still bitter memories eh my friend?  I was actually reading a book on Civil War women (don't ask) today, and the author used effect as a verb properly, I'm going to see her in a week or so and will give her many props for doing it

Good point - have a TeePee (or is it a wigwam)...Which reminds of the one about the guy who kept having these crazy dreams.  One night he'd dream he was teepee, the next he's dream he was a wigwam.  Every other night they'd switch back and forth, but he kept having the dreams.

He went to a shrink and told him about these odd dreams.

The shrink told him, "I know your problem - you're two tents."

Oldy but baddy...sorry

...on that note I shall hit the hay.

  • Let them hate, as long as they fear
What move are you referring to, Steve? The Cha-Cha move? The Salsa move? your first post today? Mentioning Artest, what's it about? G'night.
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine
