yeah. this really doesn't concern me at all. if anything I'm glad that both guys wouldn't back down, but at the same time, handled it in a way where we got they got the job done.

  • Hinrich sucks, Deng sucks, Bulls suck, I'm out.
Yeah...I listened to the recording of the interview.  Pierce was laughing the entire time he was talking about the incident.  It was obvious there was no hard feelings.

and he also said Rondo was one of the players that he was really impressed with after re-watching the games.

To the OP, thanks for not titling the post, Pierce hates Rondo, but I can't see where your coming from.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Why do you assume that Rondo is the hard headed one?

I don't think it's anything serious at all. I'm assuming Rondo was trying to run the play when Paul wanted to do something else or not giving him the ball everytime he called for it. It was probably Rondo not being afraid to challenge Pierce and trying to make the right decision. Something guys like Greg Anthony, and Kenny Smith said he would have to do to succeed on this team.

...but then again you heard the interview not me and rondo could be hard headed ;)

rondo was a bit cocky and pierce had no respect for another rookie... typical. that ended fast though so it wasn't anything too drastic. kg's first notion playing here was that he couldn't believe rondo was only in his 2nd year.

I remember when they almost got into a fight on the court.  Doc had to call timeout and they were separated in the huddle.  It was pretty late in the season b/c Cassell was the one holding Rondo back.

Doc in an interview earlier this season said he told Rondo in his rookie season that his teammates didn't like him.

thats not what doc said, we had a thread anout this too. He said he had to tell rondo that he needed to be more personal or that he wouldn't connect with the team and they would end up resenting him.
