Though I truly want to see Posey back for the next few years, if it doesn't work out two names that are surfacing due to the Elton Brand sweepstakes are intriguing.  The Sixers are said to be trying to give away Rodney Carney and Calvin Booth.  Booth is Blount-like(no offense but a little better D) to me but Carney is young, extremely athletic and can defend and is cheap.  His addition could leave money to fill other needs.  It was also noted that the Clippers might renounce Quinton Ross to free up money for Brand.  Again he should be inexpensive and he can really defend.
Any thoughts?

Carney is all that and I like him, but he's too unproven. Can you really imagine Carney as the 6th man for a championship team?

Ross would be one of my top options. I'd rather take Ross than Maggette. The problem with Ross is that he's completely onedimensional. If he could start hitting the corner 3, a la Bowen, consistently, than he'd be a great addition.
