i dont quite understand the facination on this blog with needing to create nicknames.  nicknames arent something you create, its something the player earns.

There's only so much time for talking about Tommy Points

discussing and acknowledging an accomplishment of the blogs members is better than creating nicknames for an entire roster, imo.  as i stated previously, nicknames should be earned, not created....whether it is thru their play or something about their personality or an incident off the court.

I agree with above poster.
I was about to type it out and he came up with the same nickname for Bill Walker.
"Skywalker" is a natural.
The kid has big hops and is a proficient dunker.
Hopefully he can stay healthy though.

I don't want to make any up -- I agree with Dark Lord that the nicknames just arise on their own.

For example: "Al Jeffe" never took off, did it? But "Big Al" did (both proposed nicknames for Al Jefferson).
