Well, I'm in the minority in that I don't think Vujacic sucks.  I like his grit, and I think he gets after it defensively, notwithstanding the Ray blow by in game 4.

That said, I think he's a developing player still.  If I had to put on my prognosticator hat, I'd say I'd like to have him after about 2 more years of seasoning, but for right now, I'd rather have House.

Just saying I don't think he's the soft loser that a lot of you do.

I think most people here think
Vujacic is a good player.
Heck, I won't even call him soft
or a loser for that matter.

I (and many others) just don't like his whining.
Whining spreads like a disease and
it totally destroys the spirit and the
nucleus of a team. We don't need that.

fixed your time frame for you  :D

and yea, pass on a spot up 3 point shooter who plays, as JVG termed it "fake hussell defense" as others have pointed out, thier are much better options avalable. plus, the lakers are saying he's thier top guy to resign, don't see him leaving la la land.

He wouldn't be a half bad option but I think the crowd would have a hard time cheering for him and while he doesn't look like he has a fear of taking a big shot, do the celtics really want someone who will just crank it up? The MACHINE is his nickname too? I mean, the only really machine I could see him as is a garbage compactor.

I concur.  Like others have said his whining is why I would not want him on this team.

Worst case scenario,  if the Lakers end up with Posey, & C's are unable to sign Maggette, House walks, Cassell walks,  TA is gone,  why not take a shot at Vujacic?  He has finals experience, he definitely has something to prove. C's get younger. It hurts the Lakers.  He could fill the House void,  granted, terrible on D,  but playing in the C's system might do better.

The Celtics need to get either Posey or Maggette.  However, if the opportunity and the Celtic wallet is big enough, having Posey/Maggette AND Vujacic would be terrific.  Vujacic can shoot just as well as House, plus he's a good ballhandler.  He can play backup PG and SG.  He'd be good to have on your bench.

i will not allow vujacic, the cry baby, to be a member on this team.

Correct!!  Have a TP.

Vujacic is a horrible fit for this team and he has no pose at all... see NBA Finals.

I can see it now. Word leaks that Vujacic is flying to Boston to sign. Celticsblog members quickly unite to prevent this. Crews are sent both to the airport to delay Sasha and to the Celtic's offices to convince Ainge of his mistake.

If we sign Vujacic I will stop being a Celtics fan...

Besides that I dont understand this thread. Why would House and Vujacic be able to replace Maggette or Posey. House and Vujacic are both small guards who shoot while Maggette and Posey are swingmen who can defend bigger players.

Ugh, stay in LA Sasha.

I am not a fan of his, and would be strongly averse to him joining the C's.

no, vujacic is horrible, and a developing headcase, the guy had the balls to launch threes at the end of finals games rather than giving the ball to kobe when kobe was demanding it. I hate kobe, but vujacic is not in his league, and if he has the audacity to do that on the lakers, where everything is centered around kobe and kobe has the full power, imagine what he would do to unbuntu, he'd be worse than sam

This is quite possibly the all-time worst idea posted on CelticsBlog.
