The LOB Trophy has made its way to the island, Big Baby and Perk were here awhile back. Now the word is two slightly recognizable players are visiting the island, KG and Ray.
I work at Mink Meadows Golf Course and heard three separate stories:
-One of our members played with Ray at Farm Neck yesterday. After we won the title Ray said he wanted to play golf really bad and was going to just go to a lot of courses and see who wants to play. Looks like he's doing just that. Pretty cool that he would like to make people's days by joining random groups. I guess he hit the ball well and was a real great guy, open to talking about the season, and I can't blame him.
-One of our guys has a brother who is a cop and the story goes that yesterday the two of them got pulled over for going down a one way the wrong way. I'm sure they didn't get a "Big Ticket". (Sorry it had to be said).
-They were seen at a local supermarket yesterday. Not really sure what that means besides I guess they'll be here for a few days, so if anyone wants to come down and take the chance of spotting them. I'm pretty sure KG sticks out, if there's anyone taller on the island I've never seen them.
The people in the market that I talked to today said Ray was very nice and giving autographs. He didn't take any pictures but I probably wouldn't either.
That's your Inside Edition for tonight. Seems like they are pretty cool guys and sharing this title with the public. They are becoming more and more likable in my eyes everyday.
