Great thread, nick.  It's always nice to discuss something we haven't seen 100 times before.  Plus, it's a quasi-free agency thread with no CBA questions!  Woo hoo!

Don't go knocking Trader Joe's, though.  They have those mini chocolate chip cookies that are divine.

Redz is still waiting for Hanukah Harry to bring him some gelt.  :(

You don't have any pull with him do you Nick?

The whole Santa thing is new to me, but being in a mixed marriage with kids now, I am already feeling the pull of Santa from my five year old wanting a computer - A COMPUTER - from the big guy next Christmas.  "Uhhh, sweetheart, I don't think Santa can fit it down the chimney", "Well how about a laptop?"...I'm in deep poop!

My wish for Santa Danny is for a season that brings us half the entertainment of this years. If we can get 50% of the entertainment we'll be plenty entertained!

Actually Redz, Hanukah Wyc is willing to listen to the wishes of all our Jewish friends.

The players won't be as good but they'll be very practical and durable and you can get eight of them, one for each night, and keep the best ones.

I’m dreaming of Green Christmas
6 months before the ones that I know,
Where basketballs are green
And leprechauns are keen
To watch the banner numbers grow

oh
I’m dreaming of a Green Christmas,
With every blog entry that I write,
May the off season be active and right
And may all your Julys be green & white.

I love my kids, call me a sap - it's true.

I'll take Pose and E House and a backup bigman just to be greedy. Wrap all that up in good health next year (aka Paul's knee, Perk's shoulder, etc.) and I'm a happy boy.

poor guy. so bad that his stocking is so full of coal, there isnt even room to fit even the smallest present.  It will take years to finally get enough coal out so Santa can start giving him gifts again.

Dear Papa Ainge:

This year for Christmas in July I would like the new Big Game James (TM) 2.0 with improved contract, Eddie House with Little House ball boy attachment, and 4 new sleeves (green, white, black, and St. Patty's gold) for my Ray Allen Finals Version.

Oh and a pony.

I've decided I'm going to be an extremely bad boy this year. I need the coal. Burning that is going to be a lot cheaper than paying for heating oil.

Well, you know, there are other options than being bad such as simply being generous.  For example, last year Danny Ainge and Mitch Kupchak had a program where if you wanted to donate your gifts, they would gladly accept them and in return they would give you so many lumps of coal, you could heat your house for a month. I dont know if they are going to offer such a program this year, but for such a noble cause, Im sure some great man will step up and take their places this year.

Hehehe

Yeah, I guess that works too. It must have been warm in the Grizzless and Timberpuupies front offices last winter with all that coal burning.

Dear Santa,

For Christmas in July this year, I would like the following:
James Posey
Eddie House
A back-up big man (Do you have an Alonzo Mourning in stock?)

I have been very, very, very good this year.

Your friend Rebus

Nice original thread. TP to you. I'm not much on Christmas though, my family celebrates Festivus. ;)
