Quote
Rookie forward Michael Beasley did not finish his first practice with the Miami Heat summer league team Wednesday after being struck in the chest by a teammate's elbow.

The Heat said Beasley, the No. 2 overall pick in last week's NBA draft, was being taken for evaluation and had no further details on the extent of the injury.

Must have been Mark Blount.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
*Blount ran off the court shortly after, screaming "He ran into my elbow! It hurrrts! It hurrrrts!" Observers said he called his agent prior to make sure it wasn't a contract year.

What if Beasley has already gone to the Dwyane Wade school of drama?  He catches an elbow in the chest from Quinn and goes sprawling from the top of the key into the stantion....And is out for the season....Until the olympics come a callin'

Sounds like Wade's injury bug has found a new home.

Wow, Beasley is the second coming of Pau Gasol...... soft as tissue paper

I bet the elbow came from Pat Riley and after he said " I knew I was right about you !"

LOL.  Hilarious.  Well hopefully he's not out for the year after just taking an elbow.

well after getting injured he came back and dropped 28 and 9 on chicago's summer team, which included Ty Thomas, Noah, and Derrick Rose.
