Robert Horry announced he isn't retiring and is seeking the minimum, any chance the C's show interest?
Now, on to 18...

No chance. We have Baby and Powe for the 4 spot, even Scal. The last signing we need to round out our big man rotation is a tall Center for players like D12 and Big Z. And that someone could be Pollard, since he has a fresh pair of ankles and is very good defensively.

Yeah, you're probably right, I was just thinking if they don't resign Posey, Horry could provide solid defense in spurts and that 3 pt. ability, to me he's different than either Powe or BBaby - plus he's a proven winner, if he only wants the minimum, it might not hurt to have him around...

No thanks, No way he can give us what Posey does.

Can he even give us as much as Scal could?

If this is a Horry instead of Posey idea, then surely not. If we don't get Posey, we should go hard after Barnes. Alternatively, I could see some validity in blowing the MLE on Diop... and if that's the case, the Horry situation should be explored.

He couldn't give us what Posey does.  But he could give us what PJ did...

If Horry doesn't retire, I can't imagine him coming to an east coast team.

Please no. He's a veteran punk. No interest in him wearing green.

IIRC, him and Ainge had big time issues in Phoenix. No.

Well I know Danny and Doc like the mean streak in Posey, so if we lost Posey maybe we sign two players with one of them being Horry (for the mean streak and to be the 4 with range). I think if Posey is not resigned, come August there will be some guy who didn't get the long term offer he wanted and will do the one year Celtics thing.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Well, its harder to throw a towel at someone in stands then on the bench right? ;)  Ainge had issues with Tione but brought him back, so you never know. Horry might look at making peace with Ainge and getting a ring from yet another team as his admission into the HOF. Who knows...

plus there's the little fact about Horry sucking.  He's done.  Why is everyone looking for the OLDEST PLAYERS AVAILABLE.  I'd be OK with Mutombo (no chance he signs, imo), maybe even Mourning though I think he should hang it up, but there are other options available.  You don't need to be ancient to bring experience, and the non-ancient tend to be better players.

So what about signing Kevin Willis then? :)
