i'm a pretty big fan of kristic. theo i'm still showing animosity towards because of his "injury"... yea... his injury that heals after being traded to detroit. not a fan of any player who was on a rivalry team, aka lakers, atlanta, detroit, or cavs. unless the cavs give us west back, who we really don't need now anyways.

Scott Pollard SUUUUUUCKS.

Genius, Pollard does not suck.  11 year vets are 11 year vets for a reason.  Even a guy like Blount doesnt suck, he's just a a locker room killer, and doesn't always put forth an effort.  Yeah, some guys hang around for a long time unexplicably (Olowokandi), but that is the rare exception.  A healthy Pollard is a GREAT backup center.  He's as physical a post defender as you're going to find in the league and I think he's still got something left in the tank.  If he had been healthy going into the playoffs, I don't know if we even bother going after PJ, and I think we'd still be champs.

Maybe Garnett could try to enforce ideas into Blount's head.

Oh wait....

Diop FTW!

I would take a shot with either Kwaeme Brown or Francisco Elson. Watch the situation in Seattle and Portland as they are overloaded with big men.

Diop and Foster will both command well over the MLE.  Foster may opt out, but if he does, it won't be to take a $4 million pay cut.

I don't think either one will command more than the MLE, and Foster won't opt out.

There are only a handful of teams that can pay more than the MLE (except in sign-and-trade scenarios) and all of those teams suck.  Diop might be willing to go to a rebuilding situation, but Foster won't.

I kind of like Primoz Brezec or Earl Barron. You can get a servicable backup center with the biannual exception.  I'm not too worried.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Kurt Thomas? He's still got game and would definitely bring what we're losing with PJ.

Whatever happened to Raphael Araujo?  And who can forget the Kandiman?  Has he retired?

Has Mourning said officially he's coming back next year?

I still can't quite figure out why Araujo completely washed out of the league like he did.  He was big, had good feet and hands, was incredibly tough, and seemed like a relatively smart player.
