I wanted him at #30 despite his trick knee.  He was a high school teammate of Mayo and a college teammate of Beasley, and in both cases he had just about as much physical talent.  At the very least, Walker and Giddens can put on some hellified dunk contests...

Between Giddens and Walker, we got a ton of athleticism.  I'm very happy with how tonight played out.

This is awesome. Walker is the one I wanted too, but to tell you the truth Giddens seems like the better option after thinking it through. Regardless quality players both... we should be able to make some good trades this season.

Completely agree. Love the athleticism of this draft. This is important and regardless of the character questions, it is like the Patriots. You bring in guys with upside and athleticism and put them around winning and leaders like KG and it is contagious. Love it. Bye bye Tony. I say we sign T Lue let Casell go, bring back House and Posey and sign a Pollard type who can hopefully stay healthy and give us bang.

Wow, great draft in my opinion. We got exactly what I wanted from this draft, tall/strong athletic wing players.

terrific draft considering where they were drafting.  2 players that could have been taken higher.  2 very good athletes and a now the expected big Euro to be stashed overseas for a couple of years that may pan out down the line.

not a bad night.

BRING ON TRAINING CAMP!!!!!

Walker and Giddens, based purely on talent, were each among the top prospects available in this draft.  Obviously both come with big risk, but by getting both of them the odds are decent that at least one of them pans out.

Last year athletic wings were an Achilles heel for the Celts.  Getting one of our own was one of my offseason goals, so I'm pretty happy to have two potentially good ones...

Absolutely. We got burned on that front in the first round, won't happen next year.

Bill Walker is officially the first Celtics player younger than me. I'm getting old.

 ;)

Sign Posey. Find a backup PG & C that want to win and will come cheap. Win #18. These could turn out to be seriously good draft picks. Danny can afford to take some risks because these guys don't need to contribute right away as long as he gets the job done in free agency. Open the checkbook (again) Wyc.

Hope the Celtics have stocked up on popcorn and towels.
Young Jalen House may not want that towel boy job next season.   8)
