Wait and see.  One thing for certain....headcases will not co-exist with the likes of Garnett, Ray, Paul, Posey (please please resign James) etc......

he's 23 though. It's not like some HS kid with poor shooting form and hasn't really started working yet.  He's 23.  He should have already worked on them.  He's been to two colleges.  He's a headcase.  We're going to regret passing on CDR or Chalmers.. guaranteed.

Kiki and the Nets had the best draft this year by far.  They slayed it.

Tony Allen did it.
God bless and good night!

He put together record-breaking rebounding totals for a guard: 290 rebounds in 2007-08 set a school record for guards and his average of 8.8 per game saw him become the first guard to ever lead the Mountain West Conference in a season.

Tony Allen did it.

True.  But we didn't have any Tony outbursts this past season either (at least publicly)

What's with the black stockings?

He had 30 stitches on his right calf after getting stabbed in a bar fight.  It's a sleeve.

GLS - my point exactly.  People live and learn.
God bless and good night!

Danny has hit alot of homeruns with his drafting prowess, but I think he struck out on this one. Seriously, I'm not seeing the fit. He's Tony Allen sans the criminal charges, and he shoots free throws almost as poorly as Shaq. But he can dunk, which Gerald demonstrated means absolutely nothing. Hopefully his defense will bring something to the table. But what about Pruitt. Wouldnt Chalmers make sense as a second point guard. What on earth just happened?

I'm really wondering how many people here have seen the guy play.

I think you guys are getting at the same thing--that the team's veterans will keep him in line.

I'll trust Danny's drafting prowess over any of the "experts" on the draft sites, on ESPN, or on here.  If Danny thinks the kid can help, then that's good enough for me.

Walker,

I do love his rebounding.  But the FT% just can't be overlooked.  As a 23 year old, it points to serious problems.  It basically means you can't shoot (it's worse than Rondo for crying out loud).  And/or he doesn't/won't work on it, as if he had a great shooter within him, coaches would have corrected this by now.  It's just so [dang]ing.

We're going to regret passing on CDR/Chalmers.. I'll bet good money on it.

While I'm not yet 100% sold on this one, you gotta figure, if you're going to get a guard that has problems with professionalism and free throw shooting, the best thing you could probably do is apprentice him under Ray Allen.  Still, who knows?
