There is a rumor that Dallas will offer Diop the full MLE, so that pretty much takes him the table.

Dallas should make that offer. He was very important to that team.

0. Sign Posey
1. Sign House or other (cheap) backup PG (I am fine with House as our option, and slowly working Pruitt into the rotation a little more)
2. Backup bigman on the cheap (Skinner is my current favorite option).

Players that I think will be priced too high: Diop, Duhon.
Celtics fan for life.

6. Sign Roger Mason no matter what. He'll be cheap and he's a 6'5" PG that can score and has a good handle and floor presence.

It would be a great move Nic but, it sounds like he wants to stay with the Wiz..however if the Wizzard's pass on him he would certainly take care of a need..not sure how cheap he will be..his value went up while Gilbert was injured..

I don't understand, why noone has mentioned Delonte, did you see how great he played against us in the playoffs. he would be the perfect backup PG

I'd love to see him as the backup combo guard!! Cleveland has the right to match though. And he's worth more to them (starter $$$$) than he is to us (bench $$).

Man, I think a lot of you House haters need to start watching him more and stop listening to "analysts and experts" always criticizing him for his defense and ball handling.  While he may not be the most fundamental defensive player and has trouble keeping bigger players in front of him (Derek Fisher), he busts his balls out there on defense.  How big was that hustle play in game 7 of the Cleveland series when he saved the ball to Posey?  That was a tempo-changing play of that game!  His intensity I think would be irreplaceable.  He was also really key in the game 4 comeback.  Typically off the bench, you want a high energy guy and House is just that.  Perfect substitute for Rondo when other teams want to slack off of Rondo like Kobe did.

To those who concern over his ability to handle the pressure, I agree, he does.  But Ray and Paul can both handle the ball and things worked out well when we did that!  Remember: we won the championship!!  Why mess with it??
