i read everyones comments before watching the video and I dunno what you people are talking about. I think Pierce handled himself fantastically. I think Pierce has really learned how to handle the media a lot better recently. I always use to think he said a lot of dumb things and from your comments I expected more of the same, but he was great. The comment about playing for LA was nothing. All he said was that when he was younger he wanted to finish his career as a Laker, but now he's happy being a Celtic. There's nothing new about that comment. It's widely known that Pierce grew up a Laker fan. You guys made it sound like he was saying he STILL wanted to finish his career as a Laker.
He was funny, looked comfortable up there and made a lot of jokes rubbing it in to the Los Angeles fans. I loved it.
Also, KG and Ray on Letterman was great, but KG was still really really wired in that interview. The guy couldn't sit still. His legs were shaking. I thought he was going to jump up and start doing sprints at any second. It's so interesting how completely different the personalities of the three stars are. They never disappoint. Ray is always the calm, collected and professional one. KG is always all intensity and all fire. Pierce is the fun-loving improvising one. Great mix of guys.
