So much show she felt the need to write two articles about it and throw some stiff jabs at Garnett in the process . . .

First, a crazy racist; now, a crazy feminist. Can't these nutjobs stop writing about the Celtics?

So sad I even had to read those articles, not sure what her issue is because I really can never tell what a woman is thinking.

I'd hardly call that a "pass."  It's not like he said he wanted to mount her. j/k. And yes they do compliment Craig Sager too. Should that be considered a pass too?  I don't like how the writer tries to make KG out to be such an unintellectual child.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
Yep, those are pretty stupid articles.  Of course, most of the stuff you find in the "Lifestyle" section of newspapers tends to be.  It was playful flirting, and yet she uses it to attack KG's intellect -- twice.

Doc and Phil have flirted with Tafoya, too, for whatever it's worth.  Since you don't see this with a lot of other female sideline reporters, it could be that off-camera, she's cool with the players.  Who knows?  It's certainly not worth two articles.

Btw, "I'm certified" doesn't mean he's certifiable -- it means he's certified as a superstar, now that he won his title.

This lady is just jealous.

So men are not allowed to give women compliments? These articles are ridiculous.

The funny thing about that KG interview is that it proves that even when a guy is so distracted by something amazing in life (like finally getting that championship), crying, screaming, cheering, that we still have women on the brain. :D

The comments about her being "intellectually out of his league" were out of bounds IMHO.

What does this woman know about KG's IQ and why would anyone care?  The guy gets paid to play basketball and he's never been in trouble off the court.  That should be enough to please everyone.

This lady really doesn't get it. And she should also get her facts right. "Peanut" is what KG calls his newborn child. Earlier in the playoffs Doc also had some nice comments about Tafoya. Could it be that she has built some respect as a sideline reporter?

I think peanut is actually his sister... I've heard him say it on other interviews, some quite a while ago.

And yes, just a dumb article... or two.  KG's been in the league for 13 years.  He know Tafoya well I'm sure.  It's a compliment to a friend... nothing more.

I now. Duh! Why would KG mention his wife while flirting with Tafoya!? That makes no sense. ;D
