(at the 4:45 mark, and again at 5:45)

Did anybody else catch that part of KG's post-game rant was an homage to "White Heat," one of the greatest gangster movies of all time according to some circles?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0042041/synopsis

Jarrett is pursued to the top of a gigantic gas storage tank. His accomplices are shot by the police, or by Jarrett himself when they try to give themselves up. When Fallon shoots Jarrett with a rifle, he starts firing holes into the tank and goes up in what for him is a blaze of glory: "Made it, Ma! Top of the world!"

I can't believe she kept asking him questions.  Find someone else and come back Michele.  KG was clearly overcome with emotion.

There was a pretty priceless bit in the locker room where Dickerson was trying to interview KG and he took the mic and started emceeing.
Yup

KG to Bill Russell:

"I got my own man.  I got my own.  I hope we made you proud."

Funny take on it from slate:

Quote
Tuesday night, it became clear that—just like losing did—winning has made Kevin Garnett completely insane. In perhaps the strangest postgame interview of the television era, an ecstatic KG talked, shouted, and raved for two and a half minutes in the general direction of ABC sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
“Man, I come home putting the press on my woman, denying her the ball. It’s sad, man." -- Kevin Garnett
