According to Kobe, he has faced "stiffer" defenses. Wow, can't lose with pride can you? Ruben Patterson is no Kobe stopper, the 2008 World Champion Boston Celtics are the true Kobe Stoppers!

Disappointed, as he should be.  Not a classy loser, as you would think he should be.  Typical Kobe, the guy is just a jerk.  It is so awesome beating him.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

This could not be more perfect. I have always disliked Kobe and to watch him have to suffer is so gratifying! I love! I love Paul and KG's emotion!

Wooo! 2008 Champs!

Eh, I'm no Kobe fan but he showed me something tonight.

He helped Rondo up after trying to keep him from falling - with his team down 30 points.

Then he seemed upset but not overly so in his presser and I thought he was pretty complimentary of the defense.  I didn't expect him to come out and say "Oh my God that was the best defense I've ever seen."

I've never been a fan of his but he showed me a little something tonight that I can say I respect him a little bit more.

Kobe has definitely faced tougher defenses than we played on him in the second half. That is because we did not even have to gaurd him. He had quit playing long before halftime.

oh yeah... and Kobe, when asked if the Celtics D was the best he'd ever seen responds: "I've seen some stiff ones."

Stiff ones??? LOL! Just go back to LA. Oh the lakers have Phil Jackson, the lakers have the MVP, lakers in 4 games.

L O L! How could the Celtics deal with all that? I'll tell you. The Celtics have a TEAM! play as a team, play unselfish, you win Championships. HA!
Seen some stiff ones .... HA!

THANK GOD HE LOST. I'm so sick of all his crap, and the way the LA fans defend him to the death. He's a terrible teammate and the cockiest SOB in the league. Hey Kobe, make sure you list all the stiffer defenses on the long flight back to California. I'm sure everyone wants to know, like I do, what defenses he's talking about that were tougher then this one. The better team won, the classier team won, and the right team won. Suck on that, Bryant.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Kobe went up and congradulated every Celtics player personally. That's respect and class. Forget about the nonsense issues.

It's Kobe's team that didn't show up, IMHO. Outside of Kobe that team has no heart. As for being "arrogant" so is PP or KG or RA or any top level NBA stud. That's just par for the court. You can't succeed unless you BELIEVE that your great. PP always said he was a top ten player even when people would just laugh at those comments.

In all honesty I thought the Lakers would put up a much better fight then they did..
