A different question not asked here would be whether you'd expect the highest paid player to have a dominant performance in the Finals. I'm also bypassing the definitional problem by letting you define "dominant."

He was kicking butt for the first half of game 1 and he was instrumental in getting the Game 4 comeback started by forcing it into the paint, but if we're waiting for the 35 pt, 19 reb 6 blk 4 stl kind of night, it's probably not forthcoming.

For the majority this team is not set up where one player truly dominates.  Yes there have been games where a player has 'gone off' but it's generally not the case.  I'm going to go with he won't, but KG' presence is dominant (offense or defense) whether it shows in the stats or not.

we do not need him to be dominant. just his typical regular season self would be great. and stay out of foul trouble.

KG has been dominant (when not in foul trouble) defensively.  I think he has been plagued by expending so much energy emotionally and on the defensive side that he is gassed more on the offensive side of the ball.  Although I will say I think he can take Gasol to the rim a lot harder then he has.

Tomorrow night will be the best night of Garnett's career. Take it to the bank!

I keep thinking back to the start of the season with KG .... where did those performances go to?

I don't expect a dominant performance but I do expect good performances to end this series and season in a championship.
