In my heart I believe that Boston should and will win it all in game 6. But I'd be lying if I didn't say that some things have me a little worried.

1. While he's been good on the defensive end and ok for most of the games KG has yet to really play that great. I keep hearing and hoping that the next game will be his game but it never materializes. And while he wasn't the only reason we lost last night it's safe to say that he had a big part of it.

2. Ray Allen's family problems. I don't know what's going on and I wish him and his family the best. Players family lives are more important than Basketball. That said, Ray didn't play that great last night and I would think it has to do with whatever going on
with his kid. We don't know if he'll play in game 6 and even if he plays something like this could get in his head. We know what can happen to him when he's thinking about stuff. Like I said, I know family is more important but as a Celtics fan we need Ray to for us to be able to pull this one out. I hope for MANY reason's and some that are selfish that this isn't something serious.

3. Rondo is stinking it up. I love the kid but he's not done very much on the road in LA and I personally believe his lack of shooting is hurting us. I hope he can play like he did in that one home game against the Cavs.

4. Perkins. While he hasn't given us much in points it's clear that his big body is needed down low. And it's not looking good that he'll play in game 6 or even a game 7 if need be.I think last night showed that we need him.

5. Paul played almost the whole game last night and has to get on a plane and fly home and play probably a entire game again.  Can he do it and play at the same level he did tonight? And can PJ play this long for Perk at his age?

6. Did we give LA some hope in this?

I'm not in any way trying to be a doom and gloom person while we're up 3-2 in this with the Garden waiting for us. But I'm really wanting Boston to close this one out and not go to another 7 games vs Kobe.

More than a little concerned. It's going to be tough for Ray to not be distracted. Our starter at the point's judgment is killing our offensive flow, making us incredibly easy to defend. Garnett's largely missing in action on the offesnive end. And we can't play defense intelligently for more than relatively brief stretches.

As happy as I am to think we're one win away from number 17 and it will be against LA if we do it. I'm also TERRIFIED that no team has ever come back from 3-1 and the team that's trying to do it is LA. And they just won the last game when they shouldn't have if we hadn't made dumb mistakes.

My two main concerns are Perkins and Garnett.  Garnett hasn't stepped up offensively and has trouble defensively without Perk.  Gasol and Odom are getting off because Perk is not in the middle.  If Perk plays in game 6, I'll feel a lot better.  If he doesn't, I'll be EXTREMELY concerned.  I'm not as worried about Rondo.  He plays better at home and if not, I still think we can get by without him.  Our interior defense is KEY.

I'm praying that Perk will be able to play on Tuesday.

i am worried, but no more so that i normally be. if you were to give me this situation at the start of the series, i would take it.

PP will be fine. he has that "i will not be denied" air about him. he almost did it last night, almost all by himself.

the injuries do bother me, but we have a home game tomorrow, with a chance to win it all. i will take that any day of the week.

I still think we can and should do it. The Celtics are clearly the better team. But for some reason all the bad crap is happing to us in this series. One injury and problem after another. I two of the big three show up next game then this should be in the bad. I just don't know if it will be Ray or KG that will bring it.

My friend, I share your concerns.  Yeah, we opened the door a little for LA.

And yeah, Rondo should not have been in that game.  The offense is so much better when either House, Cassell, or TA are in there.  As Van Gundy said, "anyone but Rondo".

Here's another thing that worries me.  It became clear last night that when Pau Gasol gets to the paint, he can score one-on-one against any of our defenders.  I fear for KG.  Maybe we should start PJ and let him guard Gasol.  We don't want KG to get into foul trouble early in the first half.  This is a situation where some hard nosed guy like Scott Pollard would be helpful.

Do any of you think we should just try Big Baby out for a short time and see what he can do? PJ has been doing a fine job but I'm curious to see if Davis could give us anything at all. If not then just pull him back out.

I have faith in Ray and Paul, but I'm concerned about KG.  He hasn't shown up offensively in this series. :-\

i hear you BS, but the C's played without Perk last night on the road and, really could have won the game. now they are coming hime with 17,000 title starved celtc fans going crazy. i love perk, but we won in game 4 with him playing limited minutes and almost won game 5.

pierce will not be denied and it looks like the c's know the lakers have no one to guard him, especially if they want to keep kobe on rondo.
